It’s harvest time!

Our harvest is in! The bears and deer are sulking, because we’ve snatched our cider apples and Pinot Noir grapes from their jaws. The grapes are now on their way to becoming wine. And the apples are headed to the fermenting tanks and in the process of becoming delicious cider that goes into our Cider Club!

The Color of Glass

We just bottled our first wines, a milestone in our re-invention of Kristof Farms. The farm has been in our family for more than half a century, but we only decided to plant grapes in 2018, and wine – it takes time. Our first grape harvest was in 2022, and the grapes have been fermenting in tanks since then under the supervision of our maestro, Adam Campbell, a neighbor who runs Elk Cove Vineyard.
