FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE.
YAMHILL, OR -- The Kristofs are launching their first ever cider this Sunday, October 10, in Portland, OR. This very small-batch cider, named “Orchard Cider,” features a blend of 8 cider apples grown on their farm in Yamhill.
Beginning in 2018, the Kristofs transformed their cherry orchard into a cider apple orchard and vineyard and this cider is the product of their first apple harvest. The cider was produced and bottled by Reverend Nat’s Hard Cider in Portland, OR.
“Our cider is the product of a farm that is three generations and 50 years in the making,” said Caroline Kristof, who is managing the farm operations. “We are so excited to be sharing our story and fruit with the rest of Oregon and beyond!”
The cider launch will take place on Sunday, October 10, from 4-6 pm at The Place PDX at 1212-D SE Powell Blvd in Portland, OR. Tacos will be available from Canallas.
