Noir Cider Vinaigrette Dressing Recipe

Ready to uplevel your lunch (or side salads) this month?

Try our delicious Kristof Farms Noir Cider vinaigrette recipe and toss it with your favorite greens and toppings (we went with chopped brussels sprout, toasted pine nuts and slivered almonds, dried berries, and fresh apples).

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup Kristof Farms Noir Cider

  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice (about 1/2 orange)

  • 1 tsp honey

  • 1 tbsp chopped shallots

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Bring Noir Cider, orange juice, and honey to a boil in a small saucepan. Cook for 10 minutes or until reduced to about 2 tablespoons. Pour cider mixture into a medium bowl to let cool.

Mix shallots, vinegar, Dijon, and salt and pepper to a bowl and stir together. Gradually add the olive oil, stirring constantly. Next add cider mixture and stir together until dressing thickens.

Pour over your favorite greens and toppings and enjoy!
