KF Book Club Just Got A Whole Lot Better!

Our love for cider and wine, good books, and community led us to the perfect pairing: KF Book Club.

We launched the KF Book Club in March with The Women by Kristin Hannah paired with our beautiful and crisp Chardonnay. We read Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin paired with our Pinot Noir and Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver paired with our Reserve Cider in April, Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano paired with our Rosé in May, and this month (June) we’re reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid paired with our Chardonnay. Next month (July) we’ll be reading The Heaven & Earth Grocery Store by James McBride paired with our Noir Cider.

Thank you to all who have joined us in reading these wonderful books, trying our fun pairings, and participating in online dialogue about each of our reads thus far. We’ve been so delighted by your overwhelming enthusiasm and appreciate you for nudging us to create space to get together and discuss books and sip on our favorite wines and ciders IRL.

Starting in August, we’ll be making those dreams come true: we’re hosting our first ever KF Book Club meet up event at Kells Irish Pub in downtown Portland on Wednesday, August 14th from 5:30-7:30 pm where we’ll be discussing our August book (Lady Tan’s Circle of Women by Lisa See), and pairing it with our lovely Rosé.

We hope you’ll join us for our first in-person book club. You can find full details and let us know you’re coming here.

We’ll also continue to announce our monthly books and upcoming meet-up spots at the start of each month on our Instagram page.

We encourage you to follow along with the KF Book Club online and/or join us for our in-person meet-ups at different venues throughout Portland where we'll come together to discuss each month's book, create a fun community, and of course sip on cider and wine!
