April Book Club Pick: The Bee Sting + Kristof Pinot Noir

Spring is here and with a new month comes a fresh KF Book Club read and of course, the perfect wine to go with it.

For April, we’re cracking open The Bee Sting by Paul Murray, a Booker Prize finalist that’s sharp, sprawling, dark, and utterly unforgettable. It follows one Irish family on the brink of financial ruin, and emotional turmoil. It’s the kind of novel that makes you laugh, squirm, and stay up way too late reading just one more chapter.

To complement all that beautifully chaotic storytelling, we’re pairing it with Kristof Pinot Noir, a bold and elegant red with just enough depth to match the book’s tone. It’s a wine that invites slow sips, good conversation, and reflection , pretty much everything we love about book club.

Meet-Up Info
We’ll be gathering later this month at Bottles & Cans (5916 N Greeley Ave, Portland, OR 97217) for our in-person April book club meet-up. It’s a casual, outdoor spot with a covered patio, firepit, and heaters, plus food carts and great drink options. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, April 29 from 5:30–7:30pm and RSVP here to let us know if you’re going to make it!
